So things have gone sideways here lately which is why I’ve been MIA. We were away for the weekend (and I have some great pics to share when I get a chance) but just prior to leaving I found out that I’d been laid off:( 7 years of service to them and all I get is “we’re sorry to have to do this but we’ll miss you”….oh well..on to bigger and better thing for sure.

And that brings me to my absence (and continued absence probably). You’d think since I have so much time on my hands I’d have all day to blog but searching for a job and tying up the loose ends of the job I left are rather time consuming. I’ve also picked up some freelance stuff thanks to a few friends so that’s keeping me busy. But, hopefully in the next few days/weeks I’ll have lots to share (when I find time to do it!)

For now however, I’ll be on and off….rest assured, Noey’s doing well…growing like a weed. I need to take some new pics of him to share…add that to my to do list:)

  1. Thanks everyone! This week has been a very productive and awesome week! Hopefully it continues and something lands soon!

  2. First off, love the LUL…hahaha.

Second, I’m so sorry to read of this! It seems like you have a great attitude, and, on top of that, as much as layoffs are awful, it’s nice for you to be able to be with Noah!

Good luck on the job hunt!

  3. So sorry to hear about the layoff! What a great send off they gave you, I can’t believe that! Keep up the positive attitude and good things will follow!

  4. So, will you keep your mom and dad in the loop about job prospects? LUL (my own abbrev. Love you Lots…) Momma

  5. Oh no! I am so, so, so sorry to hear that. =( But it sounds like you have a great outlook on things and I really hope that this opens up some new opportunities for you! If you ever need someone to vent to, I am your girl!
